Animadre Studio was founded in Vienna in 2024 out of a shared love for animation in all its different states of matter.
We stand for brave, author-driven films, both animated and hybrid, born from unusual perspectives and distinctive visual worlds.
Our stories are daring, told with heart and a humour that feels like missing one step of the stairs.
We also create films for young audiences, with the same arthouse sensibility and curiosity that guide our adult projects.
Animadre Studio is led by Ani Antonova and Dimiter Ovtcharov, and collaborates internationally on short and feature-length films, series, and VR experiences.

Ani Antonova
Producer, director, animator,

Ani Antonova is a director of animated films. She is a co-founder of Animadre Studio. Ani holds a master’s degree in Digital Media Technology and is an alumna of the CEE Animation Workshop, Producers’ Link and The Screen Institute. She is an active member of ASIFA Austria and serves as Chairperson of Animation Austria.
Dimiter Ovtcharov
Director, animator, co-founder,
green film consultant
Dimiter Ovtcharov is a filmmaker and producer working across analogue and digital animation, film and theatre. A Sculpture and Multimedia graduate of the University of Applied Arts Vienna, he is Managing Director of Animadre Studio, a certified Green Film & TV Consultant, and a VGFCA member.
Janka Kočíšek
Director, animator
Janka Kočíšek has a background in drawing and printmaking and is currently studying at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. As an animation director, she focuses on traditional hand-drawn animation. Her short films have been screened at international festivals around the world.
Boris Pramatarov
Director, visual artist
Boris Pramatarov is a visual artist, director, illustrator, and comic book artist. His first animation film Postindustrial premiered at Annecy IAFF. His illustrations have been published in The New York Times (US), De Standaard (BE), and Kapital (BG). He is the founder of the illustration and tattoo studio Dino et Fée in Brussels, Belgium.
Alexandra Dzhiganska
Director, animator
Alexandra Dzhiganskaya is a Ukrainian animation filmmaker, visual artist, director, and illustrator based in Vienna. She holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Applied Arts Vienna. In her work, she combines reality and drawing, exploring both collective and personal memories.
Our Commitment to Sustainable Filmmaking
At Animadre Studio, we see sustainability as part of storytelling; each choice we make leaves a trace. Based in Austria, a country known for its ecological standards, we work under the guidance of our in-house Green Film Consultant, Dimiter Ovtcharov, certified Green Film & TV Consultant and member of the Association of Green Film Consultants Austria (VGFCA).
We follow the ecological standards of the Austrian Film Institute (ÖFI) and the Austrian Ecolabel UZ 76 “Green Producing.”
From development to the big screen, we aim to reduce our CO₂ emissions, use renewable energy and sustainable materials, and work with local partners whenever possible. We make sure our sets and workflows respect both the environment and everyone involved.
We measure our environmental impact and keep refining our methods. For us, sustainability is an ongoing creative practice.
